Module Title
A clear, evocative phrase that names the day's teaching — plain language, accessible to the lay listener.
Coaches, therapists, physicians, educators, authors, master practitioners, pastors, metaphysicians, elders, and those with lived experience — bring your work to the men in the Anchored community. You create. We carry the platform. 50% of Net Revenue, split evenly.
Anchored is a proprietary digital healing and development platform built on one conviction: Black men are not defined by what has been done to them — they are whole, capable, and deserving of spaces that reflect that wholeness back to them. Our content does not pathologize. It restores. If your work does the same, you belong here.
You take home half of every dollar Anchored actually receives — after platform fees (Apple, Google, Stripe), refunds, and taxes. Paid monthly, in CAD, with a clear statement showing exactly how the math worked.
Your teachings, your books, your prior IP — all stay yours. You grant Anchored a licence to host your Module Series on the platform during the Term. Everything outside the platform — your speaking, your courses, your future work — is still yours to build with.
Your work meets a community of Black men actively seeking transformation — men who have already raised their hand. You skip the cold-start problem and step into an audience built over years of Becoming Institute programming and partnership.
You get an editorial partner and cultural-integrity reviewer in your corner before anything reaches an end user. You bring the expertise, voice, and approach. We sharpen, never override. Modules are co-developed, never dictated.
Each month you receive a clear statement — gross sales by platform, fees deducted, refunds, Net Revenue, your share, and cumulative totals. You also keep the right to audit our records once a year. No black box. No guessing.
You're not a one-off contributor. A strong first Series opens the door to additional Series, sub-series, and collaborative work — plus a real relationship with the team and the community of men your work serves.
Anchored organizes its teachings around ten canonical Topic Areas — ten doorways into the inner life, body, and circumstances of a Black man. The teachings below are illustrative of what each area can hold. You may propose a full Topic, a defined sub-series within one, or bring teachings we haven't named yet.
A Module Series is a connected set of four to ten short lessons grouped around a single Topic or sub-series. Each Module is a complete teaching unit with five components, delivered in sequence.
A clear, evocative phrase that names the day's teaching — plain language, accessible to the lay listener.
One sentence the participant can carry through the day. Short, repeatable, grounded in the teaching.
A 5–12 minute video. You teach directly to the camera, conversational in tone, applied — not abstract. 1080p minimum.
A concrete practice, reflection, or exercise the participant does after watching. 5–30 minutes. Doable on their own.
A short written summary or excerpt (up to ~500 words), suitable for display alongside the video.
Within this format you retain full creative flexibility — voice, pacing, choice of examples, video length within range, use of visual aids, and whether to include Companion Text. Where the subject calls for it, alternative formats (live cohort sessions, audio-only, guided practice, or written lessons) can be agreed in writing.
Every Module on the Anchored platform meets these editorial standards. They are non-negotiable — not because they limit you, but because they protect the men we serve.
A collaborative six-stage process. The Institute brings editorial direction, cultural and clinical review, and platform expertise. You bring expertise, voice, and approach.
Submit your interest. We review every application personally and respond within two business days. If there is mutual fit, we schedule a discovery call.
We confirm in writing the Topic or sub-series you'll develop, along with a working list of Module titles — the arc your Series will walk participants through.
We provide editorial feedback on your outline, including alignment with the Anchored editorial standards. Up to three rounds of revision are available on any Module.
You produce one complete pilot Module — video, affirmation, task, optional Companion Text. We respond with written cultural-integrity feedback within fifteen business days.
With editorial direction agreed in the pilot, you produce the remaining Modules in the Series. The Institute handles re-encoding, captions, and accessibility.
Once approved, your Series publishes to the Anchored platform on a schedule agreed in writing. The 50% Revenue Share begins from First Publication. Monthly statements follow.
This is a revenue-share engagement — there is no upfront fee or production budget. You bear the cost of producing your Series to platform standards. In exchange, you keep ownership, get an audience, and earn 50% of every dollar earned.
A worked example for clarity — actual amounts will vary by platform, pricing, and tax. Net Revenue is what the Institute actually receives after the App Store / Stripe takes their cut and HST is remitted to the CRA. Your 50% is paid on that net amount.
Statement and payment within 30 days after the end of each calendar month.
$50 CAD. Smaller balances accrue and pay out the next month they cross the threshold.
You may audit our records once per twelve months. We cover your costs if an audit finds a >5% underpayment.
Refund or chargeback after the fact? Netted against your next statement. Never clawed back from you.
You retain ownership of your Creator Materials — your prior books, teachings, expertise — and of the final Work Product. You grant the Institute an exclusive licence to host and distribute it on the Anchored platform during the Term. Nothing transfers ownership.
The agreement runs for three years from First Publication of your Module Series, with automatic one-year renewals after that. Either party can give 60 days' written notice before the end of any term to choose not to renew.
During the Term and for 12 months after, you do not publish the same Module Series — or a substantially similar derivative — on competing platforms. You remain free to keep selling and promoting your underlying books, courses, and speaking work, and to develop materially different new content on the same Topic for other platforms.
On termination, the Institute has 90 days to continue serving Series access to existing End Users, with Revenue Share continuing on that activity. After that, your Module Series is removed from the platform.
Tell us about your work, your voice, and how you imagine showing up on the Anchored platform.
